The Little Princess (1939)
Het hartverwarmende drama over de jonge Sara Crew, het kleine dochtertje van een aristocratische familie. Van de exotische jungles van India verhuist zij helemaal alleen naar de kou en de regen van Victoriaans London, naar een chique kostschool. Als zij dan plotseling te horen krijgt dat haar vader is omgekomen in de Boerenoorlog in Zuid-Afrika stort haar wereld in. De gemene directrice van de kostschool wil haar wel laten blijven, maar alleen als bediende. Zie hoe de jonge Sara alle tegenslagen doorstaat en er zo toch schitterende vriendschappen ontstaan?
