The Man with Nine Lives (1940)
Dr. Leon Kravaal ontwikkelt een mogelijke remedie voor kanker, waarbij de patiënt wordt ingevroren. Maar een experiment loopt mis als de autoriteiten denken dat Kravaal een patiënt heeft gedood. Kravaal bevriest de ambtenaren, samen met zichzelf. Jaren later worden ze ontdekt en nieuw leven ingeblazen in de hoop dat Kravaal inderdaad zijn genezing kan voltooien. Maar menselijke hebzucht en zwakte zorgen ervoor dat het project wordt verstoord.
