Delirious (1991)
Delirious, met een ongelooflijk grappig scenario en geweldige timing, is een van de laatste en beste komedies van de grootse komiek John Candy. Als schrijver Jack [John Candy) zijn hoofd stoot wordt hij wakker in Ashford Falls, het kleine stadje waar zijn populaire soap zich afspeelt. Wat begint als een nachtmerrie, wordt een geweldige kans als Jack: ontdekt dot hij de gebeurtenissen om zich heen kan bepalen... door ze te schrijven! Met behulp van zijn typemachine probeert Jack de liefde te winnen van het mooie "slechte meisje" uit de soap, maar ondertussen loopt hij steeds een onhandig "goed meisje" tegen het ijf. Kan hij de felbegeerde vrouw van zijn dromen voor zich winnen? Een ding is zeker: zijn pogingen om het scenario van zijn eigen leven te schrijven zullen je tot tranen toe laten lachen!
