Wanneer de onderzeeër Siren 1 vergaat, krijgt Wick Hayes, de ontwerper, onterecht de schuld in zijn schoenen geschoven. Hij wordt opgetrommeld om met een team op onderzoek te gaan in de Siren 2, om uit te vinden wat er gebeurd is, maar wanneer ze het signaal van de zwarte doos van de Siren 1 naar de diepzee volgen, vinden ze een geheim onderzoekslab waar iets gruwelijk misgegaan is.
