The Astronaut's Wife (1999)
Jillian Armacostis getrouwd met astronaut Spencer. Als hij in de ruimte is, is ze altijd bang dat er iets zal gebeuren. Dan wordt haar angst werkelijkheid: tijdens een routine-missie verliest de aarde twee minuten het contact met de space shuttle. Spencer overleeft het voorval en terug op aarde lijkt alles in orde, maar Jillian vertrouwt het niet. Ze denkt dat haar man is veranderd. Wanneer ze zwanger wordt, begint ze nachtmerries te krijgen en wordt ze depressief. Het gevoel blijft knagen dat er iets mis is met haar man. Ze begint bang voor hem te worden, raakt steeds meer in de war en probeert uit te vinden wat er aan de hand is.
