Eye of the Devil (1966)
In de Dordogne bezit de familie Montfaucon, van aristocratische afkomst, een groot wijndomein. Maar generaties lang lijken zijn mannelijke nakomelingen achtervolgd te worden door een verschrikkelijke vloek. Ze sterven allemaal een gewelddadige dood, in het belang van het dorp. Catherine probeert Philippe, haar man, ervan te weerhouden dit lot voort te zetten. De uitkomst zal fataal zijn, maar hun zeer jonge zoon lijkt vastbesloten de ramp voort te zetten...
