Freeheld (2015)
Politierechercheur Laurel en haar jongere vriendin Stacie dromen samen van een huis, een hond en honkbal kijken op de bank. Wat begint als liefdesverhaal verandert in een rechtendrama als Laurel ongeneeslijk ziek blijkt en Stacie - inmiddels haar geregistreerde partner - geen recht heeft op een partnerpensioen.
