Shining Through (1992)
1940. Hitler is aan zijn opmars in Europa begonnen. De halfjoodse Linda Voss woont in New York en werkt voor advocaat Ed Leland. Ze koestert twee grote dromen. Linda wil haar familie in Berlijn uit de klauwen van de nazi's redden en ondanks het feit dat ze geen diploma's heeft, wil ze bewijzen dat ze een kei is in haar vak. Linda ontdekt dat Ed, met wie ze een relatie heeft, niet de man is die hij beweert te zijn.
