Half Moon Street (1986)
Dr. Lauren Slaughter, een onderzoeker aan het Arab-Anglo Institute in Londen, is volkomen gefrustreerd door haar baan. Om haar inkomen aan te vullen, begint ze te werken bij de Jasmine Escort Service, waar ze meer controle heeft over mannen en geld dan op kantoor. Op een van haar 'dates' ontmoet Lauren de politicus Lord Bulbeck die probeert te bemiddelen bij een vredesakkoord tussen de Arabieren en Israëli's. Bulbeck wordt verliefd op zijn escorte en onbewust wordt Lauren een pion in een zeer vuile politiek spel.
