Home Town Story (1951)
Blake Washburn verwijt zakenman MacFarland dat deze zijn herverkiezing heeft tegengewerkt. Hij gaat aan het werk bij de krant van zijn oom en stort zich volledig op de onrechtvaardigheid van de 'big business'. De krant is ook de werkgever van Miss Martin (Marilyn Monroe). Wanneer de zus van Blake vermist wordt komt er hulp uit onverwachte hoek.
