The Last Tycoon (1976)
Monroe Stahr is een machtige filmproducer met wie het bij MGM niet zo goed meer gaat: het wil maar niet lukken met zijn nieuwste film. Ondertussen wordt hij verliefd op een mooie vrouw die hij toevallig ontmoet. Zij doet hem denken aan zijn overleden geliefde, wiens verlies hij nog steeds niet helemaal heeft verwerkt.
