The Informant (1997)
Na vijf lange jaren gevangenschap wil IRA-lid 'Gingy' voorgoed uit de problemen blijven en keert de gevreesde terroristenorganisatie de rug toe. De IRA heeft hem echter nog nodig voor één allerlaatste opdracht. Onder druk van de IRA, die bij weigering Gingy's gezin dreigt te vermoorden, voert hij zijn allerlaatste klus uit. Na de gelukte aanslag slaat hij op de vlucht maar wordt hij per ongeluk herkend door een Britse soldaat. Binnen de kortste keren wordt hij opgepakt en belandt achter de tralies. Het Britse leger en de Noord Ierse politie, onder leiding van de keiharde hoofdinspecteur Rennie, stellen hem voor de keuze: een levenslange gevangenisstraf of vrijheid in ruil voor het verraad van de IRA-top.
