Stromboli (1950)
De Litouwse Karin wordt na de Tweede Wereldoorlog opgesloten in een gevangenis in Italië. Haar enige mogelijkheid om daaruit te komen, is te trouwen met de Italiaanse soldaat Antonio, die verliefd op haar is.
