Beloved Enemy (1936)
In 1921 arriveert de Britse Lord Athleigh met zijn dochter Helen in Dublin om vredesbesprekingen te voeren. Omdat de gezochte Ierse rebellenleider Dennis Riordan niet publiekelijk wordt erkend, kan hij zich vrij bewegen en redt hij de Athleighs van een moordaanslag door een radicale factie. Dennis en Helen ontmoeten elkaar weer en Helen, zich niet bewust van zijn positie, wordt verliefd op hem. Wanneer Dennis later zijn identiteit toegeeft, moet Helen een noodlottige beslissing nemen.
