The Hippopotamus (2017)
Edward Wallace was vroeger een gevierd dichter, maar nu verdient hij zijn brood als theaterrecensent. Maar ook die job raakt hij kwijt. De imposante, maar grofgebekte en cynische man, die dagelijks liters whiskey naar binnen werkt, ontmoet per toeval een nichtje, Jane. Zij vraagt hem om een paar maanden op het landgoed van zijn oude vriend Lord Logan te verblijven en er zijn ogen goed de kost te geven. Al snel ontdekt Wallace waarom. De vijftienjarige zoon van Lord Logan, David, blijkt een nogal vreemde jongen te zijn...
