My Life So Far (1999)
Gamma Macintosh is het hoofd van een familie die in een kasteel op een Schots landgoed woont, in het Schotland van na de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Behalve Gamma woont in het kasteel haar dochter Moira met haar man Edward en hun kinderen Fraser en Elspeth. Op een dag komt Moira's broer Morris langs vergezeld van zijn Franse verloofde Heloise. Ze is mooi en heeft Edward veranderd. Tevens brengt ze de emoties van de jonge Fraser in beweging.
