Icebox (2018)
De grimmige realiteit van het huidige immigratiesysteem in de VS, gezien door de ogen van Oscar, een 12-jarige jongen uit Honduras. Door zijn ongewenste link met een lokale bende, hebben zijn ouders hem naar Amerika gesmokkeld. Hij werd gepakt door grensbewakers in de woestijn van Arizona en naar een immigranten behandelingscentrum voor minderjarigen gestuurd. Oscar heeft moeite om zijn lot in handen te nemen in de "Icebox" en raakt bevriend met de jonge Colombiaanse Rafael, en een Amerikaanse journalist. Ondertussen probeert hij een nieuw leven op te bouwen, dat anders is dan hij en zijn familie hadden verwacht.
