Sweet Thing (2020)
De vijftienjarige Billie en haar broertje Nico wonen bij hun vader in een geïmproviseerd idyllisch bestaan. Maar telkens als Adam toegeeft aan de verleiding van de alcohol, maakt geborgenheid plaats voor een delirium van tranen en schuld. Hun excentrieke moeder is er lang vandoor en heeft een toxische relatie met Beaux. Als hun vader gedwongen in de rehab verdwijnt, nemen Billy en Nico de benen met hun nieuwe vriend Malik, op zoek naar zijn vader die in Florida zou wonen.
