The Guns of Fort Petticoat (1957)
Lt. Frank Hewitt verzet zich tegen het besluit van zijn commandant om een groep onschuldige Indianen aan te vallen en uit te roeien en verlaat zijn post en gaat naar huis, naar Texas. Hij weet dat de aanval alle stammen op oorlogspad zal sturen en hij wil iedereen vooraf waarschuwen. Thuis krijgt hij echter een kille ontvangst. Nu de meeste mannen weg zijn en dienst hebben genomen in het Zuidelijke leger, wordt Frank, een officier van de Unie, door de plaatselijke vrouwen als een verrader gezien. Hij overtuigt hen van het gevaar dat hen te wachten staat en traint hen om de aanval die uiteindelijk zal komen af te weren.
