Perry Mason: The Case of the Glass Coffin (1991)
David Katz is een getalenteerde illusionist. Zijn goocheltruc bevat een nummer dat het publiek verbaast, dat hij 'The Glass Coffin' noemt. David vraagt Kate, zijn trouwe assistente, om in de beroemde kist te klimmen en laat haar dan met een goocheltruc verdwijnen. Maar op een avond slaat het noodlot toe, niet alleen verschijnt Kate niet meer aan het einde van het nummer, maar we vinden haar dood, vermoord! De politie ontdekt al snel dat ze een zwaar geheim had, waarvan de onthulling het privé- en professionele leven van Katz zou hebben vernietigd. Hij is de voor de hand liggende boosdoener. Te gemakkelijk voor Mason, die besluit zijn kleine onderzoek uit te voeren...
