Crazy Mama (1975)
Oma Sheba, moeder Melba en dochter Cheryl runnen samen een schoonheidssalon in Long Beach in Californië. Jaren geleden zijn ze van hun boerderijtje in Arkansas onteigend, waarbij de echtgenoot van Sheba om het leven is gekomen. Wanneer ze hun leningen voor de schoonheidssalon niet kunnen afbetalen, komt de bank het gebouw ontruimen. Het drietal besluit daarop naar Arkansas te gaan en hun boerderij terug te kopen. Ze trekken per auto door Amerika terwijl ze de ene na de andere gewapende overval plegen om het geld voor de boerderij bij elkaar te krijgen. Onderweg pikken ze nog een aantal kleurrijke figuren op die hen hierbij helpen. En tegelijkertijd zit de politie hen op de hielen...
