Money Talks (1997)
De derderangs oplichter Franklin Hatchett wordt gearresteerd en met een handboei aan de diamantsmokkelaar Villard geketend. Op de weg naar de gevangenis onderneemt Villard een spectaculaire ontsnappingspoging. Hatchett weet te ontkomen, maar wordt nu achternagezeten door zowel de politie als een horde gangsters die hem het zwijgen willen opleggen. Als zijn vriendin plotsklaps vertrekt, omdat ze een nieuwe liefde in Brazilië heeft, vertelt hij op haar werk dat ze ziek thuis ligt. Hij neemt stiekem haar column over om de huur te kunnen betalen. Geheel onverwachts slaat de column ongelooflijk aan. Ryan komt erachter dat hij echt mensen kan helpen met zijn column, maar het wordt steeds moelijker om zijn eigen identiteit geheim te houden.
