Yeoh Choo Kheng PSM SPMP (Chinees: 楊紫瓊; geboren 6 augustus 1962), professioneel bekend als Michelle Yeoh (/joʊ/), is een Maleisische actrice. In een carrière van meer dan vier decennia heeft Yeoh meegewerkt aan projecten in uiteenlopende genres en diverse prijzen gewonnen, waaronder een Academy Award en een Golden Globe Award, naast twee nominaties voor de British Academy Film Awards. In haar vroege films stond ze bekend als Michelle Khan. Ze verwierf bekendheid in de jaren 80 en 90 door haar rollen in Hongkongse actie- en vechtfilms, waarin ze haar eigen stunts uitvoerde. Deze rollen omvatten onder andere Yes, Madam (1985), Magnificent Warriors (1987), Police Story 3: Super Cop (1992), The Heroic Trio, Tai Chi Master (beide 1993) en Wing Chun (1994). Na haar verhuizing naar de Verenigde Staten verwierf Yeoh internationale bekendheid met haar hoofdrollen in de James Bond-film Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) en in Ang Lee's wuxia-vechtfilm Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000); voor die laatste film werd ze genomineerd voor de BAFTA Award voor Beste Actrice in een Hoofdrol. In 2011 vertolkte ze Aung San Suu Kyi in de Britse biografische film The Lady. Yeoh speelde bijrollen in de romantische komedies Crazy Rich Asians (2018) en Last Christmas (2019), evenals in de Marvel Cinematic Universe-film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) en de televisieserie Star Trek: Discovery (2017-2020). Ze leende haar stem aan onder andere Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), Minions: The Rise of Gru, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank (beide 2022), Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) en The Tiger's Apprentice (2024). Voor haar hoofdrol als Evelyn Quan Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) won ze de Academy Award voor Beste Actrice, waarmee ze de eerste Aziatische actrice en de eerste Maleisische actrice was die deze categorie won. Sindsdien speelde ze in de mysteryfilm A Haunting in Venice (2023) en de musicalfantasyfilm Wicked (2024). De filmrecensie-website Rotten Tomatoes riep haar in 2008 uit tot de beste actieheldin aller tijden. In 1997 werd ze door People verkozen tot een van de "50 mooiste mensen ter wereld", en in 2009 plaatste hetzelfde tijdschrift haar op de lijst van de "35 mooiste vrouwen aller tijden". In 2022 noemde Time haar een van de 100 meest invloedrijke mensen ter wereld in hun jaarlijkse lijst en een icoon van het jaar. In 2024 ontving ze de Presidential Medal of Freedom.
