Talk Radio (1988)
Der meistgehasste Radio-Moderator Barry Champlain geht bis an die Grenze und schafft sich zahlreiche Feinde. Barry ist der König des "Konfrontationsradios", einer aggressiven, provokativen Nacht-Talkshow in der Barry gegen alles und jeden zu Felde zieht. Die Einschaltquoten seiner Show sind derart hoch, dass ein namhafter Sender, der sein Programm landesweit ausstrahlt, die Sendung kaufen will. An diesem Abend häufen sich die Drohanrufe, ein Studiogast erweist sich als Psychopath, Barry scheint die Kontrolle zu verlieren. Seine Ex-Frau Ellen ruft an und gesteht ihm ihre Liebe. Der Moderator aber gewinnt neue Kraft allein dadurch, dass er sie vor den Kopf stößt und zurückweist. Er beendet die Sendung erfolgreich, doch auf dem Parkplatz, vor der Fahrt nach Hause, lauert ihm ein fanatischer Hörer auf...
