Conjuring 4: Das letzte Kapitel (2025)
Ed und Lorraine Warren nehmen einen besonders verstörenden Fall an: Jack (Elliot Cowan) und Janet Smurl ziehen 1976 mit ihren Kindern in ein neues Haus in Pennsylvania. Sie erfüllen sich damit ihren schon lange gehegten Traum vom Eigenheim. Doch schon bald häufen sich unerklärliche Vorkommnisse. Bis zum Jahr 1985 werden die Phänomene immer bedrohlicher, die Familie gerät immer näher an ihre Belastungsgrenze. In ihrer Not wenden sich die Smurls schließlich an die erfahrenen Ermittler für paranormale Erscheinungen, als die Ed und Lorraine Warren bekannt sind. Aus dem Ruhestand zurückgekehrt, stoßen die Warrens vor Ort auf ein Artefakt, das mit der Geburt ihrer Tochter Judy in Verbindung steht und Erinnerungen an ihren allerersten Fall weckt. Die Ereignisse spitzen sich zu – es kommt zu einer letzten Konfrontation mit einem Dämon, der sie seit Jahrzehnten verfolgt.
