Withnail & I (1987)
London in den Sechzigern. Zwei notorisch arbeitslose und betont blasierte Schauspieler – der scharfzüngige Zyniker Withnail und der von Neurosen geplagte I – ertränken ihre Frustration über ihre Erfolglosigkeit in Alkohol und Pillen. Als ihnen Withnails Onkel Monty seine Landhütte anbietet, entfliehen sie ihren klammen vier Wänden. Doch die Woche im Grünen erweist sich als harter Test ihrer Freundschaft und mentalen Gesundheit, als sie sich mit Dauerregen, feindseligen Einheimischen und eindeutig zu wenig Nahrungsvorräten herumschlagen müssen.
