Midnight Matinee (1988)
In einem Versuchslabor in Florida bastelt eine Wissenschaftscrew an einem Zellproben-Experiment. Reporter Milford wittert eine dicke Story und bekommt auch gleich eine Gelegenheit, eine Erscheinung parapsychologischer Art zu filmen, die selbst den ’Ghostbusters’ Angst eingejagt hätte. Währenddessen halten zwei Gangster und ein alter Mann im Anorak eine Séance mit einem übernatürlichen Wesen in den Everglades ab. Man merkt bereits: Halbe Sachen sind hier nicht in Planung. Nein, die Gangster halten es mit ’Pinky & Brain’ und wollen die Weltherrschaft.
