Don S. Davis (* 4. August 1942 in Aurora, Missouri; † 29. Juni 2008 in Gibsons, Kanada) war ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Künstler und ehemaliger Militärangehöriger. Er begann seine Karriere als Theaterprofessor, bevor er sich der Schauspielerei zuwandte. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Rolle als General George Hammond in Stargate SG-1 (1997–2007) sowie als Major Garland Briggs in Twin Peaks (1990–1991). Davis trat in zahlreichen Filmen auf, darunter A League of Their Own (1992), The Fan (1996), The 6th Day (2000) und Far Cry (2008). Er übernahm oft Rollen als Autoritätspersonen und Militärfiguren, was durch seine eigene Erfahrung als Captain der US-Armee unterstrichen wurde. Neben der Schauspielerei war er ein talentierter Maler und Bildhauer. Er studierte Theater und Kunst an der Southwest Missouri State College und erwarb später einen Ph.D. in Theaterwissenschaften an der Southern Illinois University. Davis war mit Ruby Fleming-Davis verheiratet und blieb bis zu seinem Tod eine prägende Figur in Film und Fernsehen.
