Beauty Shop (2005)
Gina Norris ist weit weg vom Barbershop – sie lebt jetzt in Atlanta, wo sie in einem feinen Friseursalon neue Haartrends kreiert. Aber ihr egozentrischer Chef Jorge hat unentwegt was an ihrer Arbeit auszusetzen, so dass Gina eines Tages beschließt ihre eigene Chefin zu werden. Unterstützung für ihr Projekt, einen eigenen Beauty Shop zu eröffnen, bekommt sie von Shampoo Girl Lynn und einigen ihrer Kundinnen mit deren Hilfe sie einen heruntergekommenen Laden ersteigert. Natürlich läuft nicht alles nach Plan, aber schon bald wird Gina’s Beauty Salon zum Treffpunkt der weiblichen Nachbarschaft, die ganz sicher nicht auf den Mund gefallen ist.
