Border Run (2012)
Als konservative Verfechterin von Law and Order hat die amerikanische TV-Journalistin Sofie Talbert für illegale Einwanderer nicht viel übrig. Um so härter trifft sie die Nachricht, dass ihr Bruder in Diensten einer Hilfsorganisation in Mexiko spurlos verschwunden sind. Sofie reist über die Grenze, nimmt Kontakt auf zu Leuten, die ihren Bruder kannten, verliebt sich in einen davon, lernt andere fürchten, und findet sich schließlich, Ironie des Schicksals, in einer ziemlich ähnlichen Situation wieder wie so mancher illegale Einwanderer.
