Der letzte König von Schottland (2006)
Doktor Nicholas Garrigan ist ein schottischer Mediziner, der in Uganda arbeitet. Indem er versucht den Ugandern zu helfen, findet er im ugandischen Diktator Idi Amin einen Bewunderer. Amin ist von der Einstellung Garrigans beeindruckt und macht ihn sogar zu seinem Leibarzt. Der ist zunächst geschmeichelt, doch die Wirklichkeit holt ihn alsbald ein. Garrigan fühlt sich als ein Komplize bei der barbarischen Unterdrückung der ugandischen Bevölkerung durch Amin und er stellt sich die Frage, ob er Amin überhaupt je lebend entkommen kann.
