Wien, 1824: Die junge, sehr engagierte Anna Holtz wird von ihrem Konservatorium als beste Studentin empfohlen, die Reinschrift der Neunten Sinfonie Beethovens anzufertigen. Zuerst hat der Maestro große Vorbehalte, weil Anna eine Frau ist. Aber er muss rasch zugeben, dass sie äußerst talentiert ist.
