Freaky Deaky - Das Ende der Zündschnur (2012)
Die attraktive Robin Abbott und ihr verrückter Kamerad Skip Gibbs sprengen im Jahr 1970 das offizielle Gebäude der US-Bundesregierung in die Luft. Ihr millionenschwerer und exzentrischer Auftraggeber Woody Ricks wird schon kurz darauf selbst Opfer herber Bombenanschläge und sieht sich plötzlich direkten Erpressungen gegenüber. Derweil wird der Polizist Chris Mankowski unfreiwillig in den explosiven Fall hineingerissen. Er muss nach und nach feststellen, dass er in ein Spiel geraten ist, in dem alles nur auf Geldgier hinausläuft. Neben Billy Burke und Chrispin Glover in den Hauptrollen, sind auch die Schauspieler Christian Slater, Andy Dick, Michael Jai White und Bill Duke in dem neuen Geniestreich von Charles Matthau und Elmore Leonard vertreten, die mit „Freaky Deaky“ abermals ihre inszenatorischen und visuellen Fähigkeiten unter Beweis stellen.
