Der Mann im Mond (1991)
Das ländliche Lousiana in den 50ern: Die 14-jährige Dani und ihre ältere Schwester Maureen teilen alles miteinander. Als aber Court Foster ins Nachbarhaus einzieht, werden die beiden zu Rivalinnen: Dani macht erste Erfahrungen mit den Gefühlen der Zuneigung, und auch Maureen glaubt, die Liebe ihres Lebens gefunden zu haben. Aber mit der Liebe kommt das Leid, und schon bald müssen die Schwestern eine harte Lektion fürs Leben lernen. Das Unglück schlägt zu, und ihre Verbundenheit ist nun das Einzige, was ihnen noch Halt gibt.
