Jay Mallory ist Berufskiller. Kühl und zweckorientiert führt er die Morde aus, die man ihm aufträgt. Das ändert sich schlagartig, als seine Frau verschwindet. Zur Angst gesellt sich auch noch Eifersucht: Jay findet heraus, daß sie eine Affäre hatte.
