In the Bedroom (2001)
Die Fowlers sind eine ganz normale Durchschnittsfamilie, die in dem kleinen beschaulichen Ort Maine wohnt. Matt ist der Arzt in der Stadt und liebt es fischen zu gehen, seine Frau Ruth führt den Schul-Chor und ihr Sohn Frank ist momentan zu Besuch, da er gerade das erste Jahr auf dem College hinter sich gebracht hat. Jedoch hat Frank eine heimliche Liebe, die junge Mutter Natalie, die noch nicht offiziell von ihrem Ex-Mann Richard geschieden ist. Dieser kann es nicht aushalten seine Frau mit einem anderen Mann herumlaufen zu sehen, besonders nicht, wenn es sich in seinen Augen um einen noch so jungen Burschen handelt. Die Lage spitzt sich nach und nach immer weiter zu, bis die gesamte Situation in einer Tragödie zu enden droht, die nicht nur die Fowlers für immer verändern wird…
