Das Durchgangszimmer (1970)
Die Handlung erforscht die Beziehungen zwischen den Bewohnern einer schäbigen Pension, die der mürrischen Frau Brent gehört. Unter ihnen sind die Straßenmusikerin Wanda Fleming, die sich von der Aufmerksamkeit geschmeichelt fühlt, die ihr der rebellische Möchtegern-Pop-Songwriter Mickey Hollister schenkt, und der ehemalige Schulmeister James Wallraven, der der Pädophilie beschuldigt und auf die Arbeit als Hausmeister in einer Kunstgalerie reduziert wurde.
