Lady Victoria Woodworth hat zwar nicht viel Geld, spendet aber großzügig für wohltätige Zwecke. Ihr Butler ist der alten Dame sehr zugetan und kümmert sich um einen stets ausgeglichenen Kontostand: mittels einer Gaunerbande, die er engagiert hat und die das fehlende Geld immer wieder beschafft.
