Mein Mann Godfrey (1936)
Die verwöhnten New Yorker Erbinnen Cornelia und Irene Bullock nehmen an einer extravaganten “Schnitzeljagd” teil, bei der nach einem “forgotten man” gesucht wird. Auf einer städtischen Müllhalde treffen sie auf den überraschend wohlerzogenen Godfrey. Nach einigen Turbulenzen läßt dieser sich von Irene als ihren Fund mitbringen, so daß sie die “Schnitzeljagd” gewinnt, doch Godfrey ist abgestoßen von dem sinnentleerten Lebenswandel der Reichen.
