Die Legende vom Lone Ranger (1981)
Als der Ranchersohn John Ried nach einem Überfall des Gangsters Bartholomew "Butch" Cavendish der einzige Überlebende ist, schwört er nach seiner Genesung, alles Böse zu bekämpfen. Als Cavendish den amerikanischen Präsidenten Grant entführt, macht er sein Versprechen wahr und kämpft als maskierter Held an der Seite seines Freundes Tonto für die Freiheit des Staatsoberhauptes.
