Oscar und Lucinda (1997)
Der Geistliche Oscar unterstützt die Armen und Bedürftigen durch eine sehr unkonventionelle Methode - er spielt. Als er dieser Versuchung entsagen will, begegnet er der reichen Erbin Lucinda die seine Neigung zum Glücksspiel teilt. Das Blatt wendet sich, als Oscar sich unsterblich und hoffnungslos in Lucinda verliebt, denn damit beginnt das gewagteste Spiel seines Lebens.
