CHiPs (2017)
Aus ganz unterschiedlichen Gründen landen Jon Baker und Frank „Ponch“ Poncherello bei der California Highway Patrol (CHP), die auf Motorrädern die Highways von Kalifornien bewacht: Jon ist ein Profi-Motorradfahrer, doch nach zahlreichen Verletzungen und ebenso vielen Operationen wird es für ihn langsam Zeit für einen etwas weniger halsbrecherischen Beruf. Ponch hingegen ist ein arroganter FBI-Agent, der von seinem Vorgesetzten undercover bei der CHP eingeschleust wird, um zu überprüfen, ob einige der Motorrad-Cops korrupt sind und an einem Überfall beteiligt waren. Natürlich werden die ungleichen Neulinge zu Partnern und obwohl sie sich anfangs wenig leiden können, bilden sie mit ihren unterschiedlichen Fähigkeiten, Baker mit seiner Erfahrung auf dem Motorrad und Ponch mit seiner Herkunft aus den Problemvierteln von Los Angeles, schnell ein schlagkräftiges Team…
