Auf Befehl General Custers verläßt Captain Benson vorübergehend die siebte Kavallerie. Ausgerechnet jetzt tobt die Schlacht am Little Big Horn, in der Indianer die komplette Truppe vernichten. Benson gilt nun als Deserteur
