Das Schlafzimmer ist nebenan (1965)
Joan Howell, ein junges und hübsches Dienstmädchen, lernt den wohlhabenden New Yorker Geschäftsmann Tom Milford kennen und beginnt eine Beziehung mit ihm. Joan schämt sich, ihn in ihre winzige Wohnung mitzunehmen, die sie mit ihrer Mitbewohnerin Audrey teilt. Deshalb bringt sie Tom in eine schicke Wohnung, die sie täglich putzt, ohne zu wissen, dass es seine Wohnung ist. Tom spielt bei der Scharade mit, obwohl er nicht weiß, wer Joan wirklich ist. Währenddessen versucht sie, Toms Wohnung aufzuräumen, ohne zu wissen, wer er wirklich ist.
