Another Year (2010)
Um die Liebeswirren des Zweiten Frühlings geht es in Another Year von Mike Leigh. Mary ist eine Frau in den Vierzigern, die nach einer verkorksten ersten Ehe endlich den Mann fürs Leben sucht. In der Zwischenzeit ist sie ständig zu Besuch bei Gerri und Tom die seit Jahrzehnten glücklich miteinander verheiratet sind. Tom versucht Mary mit seinem alten Jugendfreund Ken zu verkuppeln, aber Mary hat fatalerweise ein Auge auf Gerris und Toms Sohn Joe geworfen. Als dieser eines Tages mit einer Freundin auftaucht, reagiert Mary sehr ungehalten, was die Freundschaft zu Gerri und Tom stark strapaziert.
