Nachdem es zu einer großen Katastrophe gekommen ist, die die Welt in apokalyptischen Zuständen hinterlassen hat, versuchen die Überlebenden eine neue Zivilisation aufzubauen und kämpfen dennoch jeden Tag ums Überleben. Denn sobald die Sonne untergeht, wird die Oberfläche von tödlichen Kreaturen heimgesucht. Juliette (Brittany Ashworth), eine furchtlose Frau, macht eines Tages jedoch einen dramatischen Fehler und hat einen Unfall, der sie bewegungsunfähig in ihrem Auto einklemmt. Mit gebrochenem Bein muss sie nicht nur gegen Hunger und Durst ankämpfen, sondern bald wohl auch gegen die Kreaturen. Denn die Nacht rückt immer näher...
