Lloronas Fluch (2019)
Im Los Angeles der 1970er-Jahre untersucht eine Sozialarbeiterin gerade einen Fall von zwei Kindern, die unter scheinbar mysteriösen Umständen verschwunden sind. Doch je tiefer und intensiver sie sich mit dem Fall auseinandersetzt, desto klarer wird ihr, dass vermutlich auch ihre eigene Familie in großer Gefahr sein könnte. Das hat etwas mit einem mexikanischen Volksmärchen über die weinende Frau La Llorona zu tun, das vielleicht wahrer ist, als manche denken.
