Warten auf die Barbaren (2020)
Für Zimperlichkeit ist Oberst Joll von der Politpolizei beileibe nicht bekannt: Mit eiserner militärischer Faust setzt er seine Ziele durch. Auf einem weit entfernten Grenzposten versucht seinerseits der Magistrat, für Recht und Ordnung zu sorgen. Als bekannt wird, dass ein Stamm von Nomaden einen Angriff vorbereitet, hält Joll Einzug in die Stadt und lässt die vermeintlichen Feinde foltern, zum Missfallen des Magistrats.
