Going to Pieces (2006)
Wer kennt sie nicht, die Slasherikonen dieser Welt. Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees oder Freddy Kruger. Sie alle sind wahre Größen in ihrem Genre und neben diesen Stars des Slashergenres gibt es noch unzählige eher unbekanntere Schlitzer. Die Dokumentation „Going to Pieces“ beleuchtet das Genre des Slasherfilms bis ins kleinste Detail und lässt dabei unter anderem erfahrene Horrorregisseure wie John Carpenter (Halloween, The Fog), Wes Craven (The Hills have Eyes, Nightmare on Elm Street), Rob Zombie (Haus der 1000 Leichen) und Sean S. Cunningham (Freitag der 13.) zu Wort kommen. Natürlich darf auch der Make-Up-Spezialist Tom Savini (Freitag der 13., Day of the Dead) seinen Senf dazu geben. Garniert ist das ganze mit vielen Filmszenen aus den angesprochenen Slashern.
