High Ground - Der Kopfgeldjäger (2021)
Ordnungshüter Travis verliert im weiten Norden Australiens die Kontrolle über einen Einsatz, der in ein Massaker an einer indigenen Gruppe ausartet. Seine Vorgesetzten bestehen darauf, die Wahrheit zu vertuschen, und Travis quittiert empört den Dienst. Zwölf Jahre später wird er mit dem Auftrag zurückbeordert, den Aborigine-Krieger Baywara zu jagen, der mit Angriffen auf neue Siedler Chaos und Verwüstung anrichtet. Als Travis, der inzwischen als Kopfgeldjäger sein Geld verdient, den jungen Gutjuk als Fährtenleser anheuert, droht der weiße Mann vom Jäger zum Gejagten zu werden: Gutjuk ist der einzige bekannte Überlebende des Massakers.
